De hardmetalen punt van de Expert SDS plus-7X is een geavanceerd ontwerp met 4 snijkanten gemaakt uit één stuk van het sterkste metaal: het loopt niet vast en kent geen zwakte.
Dankzij de Bosch Carbide Technology en de hardmetalen punt gaat de Expert SDS plus-7X veel langer mee dan gewone hamerboren. Het gaat effectief door bewapening. Dus het is niet nodig om te stoppen, opnieuw te centreren of te wisselen van boor bij het raken van staal.
