Coconuts

Coconuts are large, hard fruits that grow on the coconut palm. They have a fibrous, brown skin and inside a hard shell with white flesh and coconut water. The flesh is firm and slightly sweet, while the coconut water is refreshing and slightly sweet. Coconuts are used in many forms: eaten fresh, dried, as coconut milk, coconut oil or grated coconut in dishes and desserts. They are especially popular in tropical cuisines and are known for their versatility and rich flavor.
